Assoc. Dr. Aylin ÜNVER NOİ at the PAM Meeting

At the event, one of our mentors, Muhammed Hamedi who is a member of the Board of Directors of Borusan Holding, told his experience to our students and informed them about the sector.

In the program organized by the Department of International Trade and Management, we hosted the Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Africa and DEİK Africa Region Coordinator Mr. Tamer Taşkın at our university.

President of Tatarstan Minnihanov and T.C. Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan from Turkey-Tatarstan Business Forum organized with the participation of the International Trade and Business section we were joined students with Instructor Suha Tarman.

While preparing our students for the future and the business world, we received consultancy from our CEOs who left their mark on the Turkish business world, our program "Mentor'un CEO Olsun" that helps them develop their shortcomings and make a successful entry into business life and become an active player in this context we visited Hakan Çınar.

We hosted İzdaş Dış Tic., Çukurova Dış Tic., and Heidelberg Cement Trading as former senior manager Bülent Kahyaoğlu who an important foreign trade member of the Board of Directors of the İhracatçılar Birliği.

The academicians and students of Istinye University, Department of Public Relations and Advertising made primary school students smile with scope of their social responsibility projects.

Social Responsibility Projects carried out by Health Management students were completed in May.
NAME OF THE PROJECT: Get Salt in Soup
Our students Aleyna Aydan, Erbanur Güneş and Zilan Aydın delivered soup to people who had to live on the streets with the un Let Salt Be in Soup ”project.
PROJECT NAME: HIV + Virus
Our students Zelal Arslan, Seray Çiçek and Beyza Nur Gülap conducted a survey to measure public awareness about HIV + virus. They prepared the survey results in posters and hung them on the school board and aimed to raise awareness of other students about the HIV virus.
PROJECT NAME: Breast Cancer and Self Breast Examination
One of our students, Sena Çayırlı, Sevcan Canboy and İrem Erkılıç made a presentation titled Mu Breast Cancer and Self Breast Examination amacıyla in order to raise awareness about breast cancer. In their presentations, they informed their friends about the prevalence of breast cancer, risk factors and how to perform breast self-examination.
PROJECT NAME: Zero Waste Project Information Seminar
Our students Enes Akkuş, Alper Sevimli, Talha Pekel and Muhammet Talha Bilgin, in their presentations within the scope of the Zero Waste Project Information Seminar, explained the importance of waste to the economy and the ways in which it can bring to the economy and the habit of storing in accordance with the categories of waste. In addition, information was given about the steps taken by our university within the scope of the Zero Waste Project and the works planned to be performed.
PROJECT NAME: Down Cafe Visit
Our students Bilge Ünal Health Management, İlayda Çakar, Mısra Öykü Alaz and Ceren Erol spent a day with Down Syndrome employees in Down Cafe. They ate, studied their works and chatted with them. Their beautiful day helped them to develop their awareness of Down's syndrome and change their perspectives.

Head of Department of Health Management, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Dr. Gülhan Kalmuk's article titled “City Hospitals and Health Management, was published in the Hospital Manager, a journal of health professionals.
In the March-April 2019 issue of dosya City Hospitals in All Aspects lend Lecturer. Member Gülhan Kalmuk made recommendations on the management of city hospitals. Kalmuk emphasized that city hospitals should be managed with a professional management approach without losing the sensitivities of the health sector, and that hospitals should establish minimum standards and guidelines to guide the standards before starting operation. He emphasized the importance of health management graduates to hold managerial positions in city hospitals.

The article was published in Hacettepe Journal of Health Administration.

The first student-mentor meeting of the “Let Mentor be the CEO” program organized by Istinye University Collaboration with Industry Sector was held. The students of the Department of Health Management, 1st and 2nd grade students of Middle East Medikal A.Ş., have been working in the program to help them make a successful entry into business life by getting consultancy from CEOs who have made their mark in the business world while preparing our students for the future and business world. yön.kur.bşk. Mr. Aydın made a visit to Harezi on Thursday, 21 March.
Mr. Harezi welcomed our students in his office and shared his experiences in business life from past to present. He touched upon strategies to overcome the challenges that can be encountered in the career path and to maintain success. Emphasizing the importance of teamwork, Mr. Aydın sincerely answered the questions of our students at the end of the meeting.
