Dr. Şebnem Özdemir, Departmental Head of Management Information Systems, gave a talk about studies on artificial intelligence in the world and Turkey at the seminar entitled “Artificial Intelligence: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly? (Advancements and Problems)” hosted by Istinye University’s Department of Management Information Systems.
At the seminar which was well attended by our faculty members, our university students, and the press, Dr. Şebnem Özdemir explained that understanding how humans make mistakes will facilitate our understanding of machine errors, and emphasized that a specific focus should be set on the question of what would happen if humans and machines made the same errors.
