The National Informatics Congress organized since 1976 by the Informatics Association of Turkey (TBD) was held this year under the theme “Safe Digital Future: Artificial Intelligence”.
The 36th Informatics Congress was held at the Directorate of Information and Communication Technologies in Ankara from November 6-7, 2019 and the opening speeches at the event were delivered by Dr. Ömer Fatih SAYAN, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Infrastructure, and Rahmi AKTEPE, the Chairman of the TBD.
The Congress also included a panel entitled “New Professions and Human Capital” where Dr. Şebnem Özdemir, Head of Istinye University’s Management Information Systems Department at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, delivered a speech with the title of “Changes in Professions Based On Artificial Intelligence and Data, and the Potential Professions of the Future”.
