Prof. Dr. Assist. Prof. Dr. Elif Çiçekli's application for the establishment of her company, which will serve in the field of corporate social responsibility, was accepted by the Informatics Valley. Elif Çiçekli established her company named CSR Medya ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. on January 12, 2023 within the Istinye Garage Incubation Hub in Informatics Valley.

Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Elif Çiçekli's entrepreneurship project application titled "Measurement, Consultancy and Promotion Using Artificial Intelligence on Corporate Social Responsibility Performance" was accepted by the Informatics Valley Technopark Management on March 1, 2023. Elif Çiçekli started her project activities within Istinye Garage Incubation Hub.

As Networking Club, we have come to you with a great event for E-Commerce, whose popularity is increasing day by day, especially during the pandemic period, which we have seen the magnitude of its impact and its value has increased exponentially over the years, and today it has become one of the indivisible parts of trade with online shopping.

Mehmet Tek, who teaches e-commerce and software programming, has more than 32 courses in English and Turkish, and provides online training to more than 245,000 people around the world, was held on Wednesday, November 2 at 10:00.

We carried out our orientation with our freshmen students of International Trade and Business, Economics and Business, who started their department this semester. Head of International Trade and Business Administration Dr. Gülsüm Gökgöz, important information was given to our students, from course selections to Erasmus activities, from summer school to major and minor opportunities.

The results of Tübitak 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program have been announced.

Burak Babadağ's project titled "A Research on Determining the Effects of Flexible Working on Inequality in Business Life" under the consultancy of our International Trade and Business Administration (English) Department professor Elif Çiçek, under the consultancy of professor Yasemin Torun Selin Erdoğan's "Digital Applications of Generation Z on Privacy and Security of Personal Data" Its project titled "Attitudes Towards Its Use" and one of our department students Zeynep Sude Arkun's Economics department professor Çiğdem Gürsoy "Is it Possible to Implement the Green Supply Chain in the Textile Sector in Turkey?" His project titled Tübitak 2209-A was accepted to the University Students Research Projects Support Program and deserved to be supported.

We hosted Taylan Obuz, Field Sales Manager of DHL Logistics, as part of our curriculum with industry professionals. Obuz gave a presentation titled "Incoterms in International Trade" to our students and explained his experiences and observations about the sector both theoretically and practically.

Prof. Florin Dan Puscaciu and Rose Marie Puscaciu from Danubius University in Romania and Nazmije Ramis Merko Zabzun from the University of Struga in North Macedonia met with our students and department staff. Our guest lecturers, who attended classes in line with their fields within the scope of the program, shared their knowledge and experiences to our students.

Dr. Yasemin Torun's new article titled "The mediating role of entrepreneural invention in the relationship between university students' core self evaluation and career stress: a case study of foundation university students" has been published in Pamukkale University Journal of Education.

Our senior students has started their proffessional lives in companies, where they will work for 14 weeks within the scope of the Professional Practice course. Thanks to the 7 + 1 Teaching Model, they had the chance to transform the academic knowledge they gained into practice. We are proud of our students.

Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, International Trade and Business Department Research Assistant Enes Kurt's new three articles have been published.

International Trade and Business Students have established a Book Club. Our students who wanted to support their time at home with activities outside of the pandemic. The March book was MOMO.

International Trade and Business Department member Dr. Levent Sümer's and Prof. Beliz Ozorhon's article "Investing in gold or REIT index in Turkey: evidence from global financial crisis, 2018 Turkish currency crisis and COVID-19 crisis" has been published.

"Remote Access World Trade History" Seminars organized by our department were followed with interest by our students. In the seminar was given by Engineer and Archaeologist Dr. Halis Aydıngün, information about the trade done in that period was given by explaining the period bc. 3.-4. The effects of maritime commerce on the development of civilizations thousand years ago are discussed. On the other hand, commercial commodities and trade routes are explained by giving information about land trade. Besides, the innovations made in this period, interesting information about emerging technologies, and set of laws is given.

Our faculty member Dr. Naim Çetintürk's articles "The Concept and Strategy of "Overmarketing" in the Digital Communication Era" published in Social Sciences Studies Journal.

Our Faculty Member İlkay Gültaş organized a webinar on the subject of "change", which is quite remarkable on the basis of organizations and individuals. Gültaş explained 4 rooms of change; pleasure/satisfaction, inspiration/renewal, auto censorship/rejection and chaos/complexity and the participants were tried to be implemented interactively.

Maher Holding Communications and Marketing President Dr. İsmail Kızılbay became our guest. A crowded participation was provided by both our academic staff and our students. He presented many examples based on theory and practice regarding communication from his rich academic and professional career.

International Trade and Management Department Mentor Galata Taşımacılık Chairman of the Board of Directors Aram Kalenderoğlu, made a warm interview with our students at İstinye University and shared his life story with the students with ups and downs.

Head of International Trade and Management Department Faculty Member Gülsüm Gökgöz gave a conference titled "Management in the Changing World".

Asim Yazıcıoğlu, the general manager consultant of SGS, firstly provided historical information about the company from the past to the present day. Afterwards, information about how the food, textile, agricultural products and electronic devices are supervised and audited according to the commercial agreements are examined separately chairman. In addition, our students were interviewed with Hakan Sebükcebe, CEO of the company.

Our students learn the culture of Chinese which is the compulsory course of our department. He travels with his Chinese teachers, not only learning Chinese, he also knows Chinese culture.

In the program organized by the Department of International Trade and Management, we hosted the Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Africa and DEİK Africa Region Coordinator Mr. Tamer Taşkın at our university.

President of Tatarstan Minnihanov and T.C. Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan from Turkey-Tatarstan Business Forum organized with the participation of the International Trade and Business section we were joined students with Instructor Suha Tarman.

While preparing our students for the future and the business world, we received consultancy from our CEOs who left their mark on the Turkish business world, our program "Mentor'un CEO Olsun" that helps them develop their shortcomings and make a successful entry into business life and become an active player in this context we visited Hakan Çınar.

We hosted İzdaş Dış Tic., Çukurova Dış Tic., and Heidelberg Cement Trading as former senior manager Bülent Kahyaoğlu who an important foreign trade member of the Board of Directors of the İhracatçılar Birliği.

Our students studied Customs Regulations and Practices in Ünsped Customs Consultancy this week. Gürbüz Hocaoğlu who Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company gave theoretical and current information to our students about the labels used during the transportation of the goods.
