Elif Çiçekli established her company named CSR Medya ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. on January 12, 2023 within the Istinye Garage Incubation Hub in Informatics Valley.

Burak Babadağ's project titled "A Research on Determining the Effects of Flexible Working on Inequality in Business Life" under the consultancy of our International Trade and Business Administration (English) Department professor Elif Çiçek, under the consultancy of professor Yasemin Torun Selin Erdoğan's "Digital Applications of Generation Z on Privacy and Security of Personal Data" Its project titled "Attitudes Towards Its Use" and one of our department students Zeynep Sude Arkun's Economics department professor Çiğdem Gürsoy "Is it Possible to Implement the Green Supply Chain in the Textile Sector in Turkey?" His project titled Tübitak 2209-A was accepted to the University Students Research Projects Support Program and deserved to be supported.
We hosted Taylan Obuz, Field Sales Manager of DHL Logistics, as part of our curriculum with industry professionals. Obuz gave a presentation titled "Incoterms in International Trade" to our students and explained his experiences and observations about the sector both theoretically and practically.
Prof. Florin Dan Puscaciu and Rose Marie Puscaciu from Danubius University in Romania and Nazmije Ramis Merko Zabzun from the University of Struga in North Macedonia met with our students and department staff. Our guest lecturers, who attended classes in line with their fields within the scope of the program, shared their knowledge and experiences to our students.
Dr. Yasemin Torun's new article titled "The mediating role of entrepreneural invention in the relationship between university students' core self evaluation and career stress: a case study of foundation university students" has been published in Pamukkale University Journal of Education.
Our senior students has started their proffessional lives in companies, where they will work for 14 weeks within the scope of the Professional Practice course. Thanks to the 7 + 1 Teaching Model, they had the chance to transform the academic knowledge they gained into practice. We are proud of our students.

"Remote Access World Trade History" Seminars organized by our department were followed with interest by our students. In the seminar was given by Engineer and Archaeologist Dr. Halis Aydıngün, information about the trade done in that period was given by explaining the period bc. 3.-4. The effects of maritime commerce on the development of civilizations thousand years ago are discussed. On the other hand, commercial commodities and trade routes are explained by giving information about land trade. Besides, the innovations made in this period, interesting information about emerging technologies, and set of laws is given.
Our faculty member Dr. Naim Çetintürk's articles "The Concept and Strategy of "Overmarketing" in the Digital Communication Era" published in Social Sciences Studies Journal.
Our Faculty Member İlkay Gültaş organized a webinar on the subject of "change", which is quite remarkable on the basis of organizations and individuals. Gültaş explained 4 rooms of change; pleasure/satisfaction, inspiration/renewal, auto censorship/rejection and chaos/complexity and the participants were tried to be implemented interactively.
Maher Holding Communications and Marketing President Dr. İsmail Kızılbay became our guest. A crowded participation was provided by both our academic staff and our students. He presented many examples based on theory and practice regarding communication from his rich academic and professional career.
International Trade and Management Department Mentor Galata Taşımacılık Chairman of the Board of Directors Aram Kalenderoğlu, made a warm interview with our students at İstinye University and shared his life story with the students with ups and downs.

Afterwards, information about how the food, textile, agricultural products and electronic devices are supervised and audited according to the commercial agreements are examined separately chairman. Our students learn the culture of Chinese which is the compulsory course of our department. He travels with his Chinese teachers, not only learning Chinese, he also knows Chinese culture.
