Dear Students, Alumni and Economics Enthusiasts,
Economics is like a key for those who want to understand the essence of life, solve social dynamics and shape the world economy. At this very point, I am pleased to invite you to our Department of Economics.
Economics is a science that constantly renews itself by keeping up with the changing world conditions. We not only follow this evolutionary process, but also work hard to raise individuals who can see ahead and keep up with the times.
In our department, the courses we offer with our strong academic staff include not only classical economic theories but also current economic issues. Our students graduate as well-equipped economists with a wide range of knowledge from macroeconomics to financial technology, from development economics to automotive economics.
Another important feature of our economics department is that it has a perspective that is suitable for international connections and the changing global economy. Our students graduate not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the ability to compete in the international arena. In this context, all our students go on compulsory internship in our 8th semester.
We are here to equip you with a hunger for knowledge and an economic vision that will shape the future. In addition to our educational activities, we believe that we will spend four years full of activities that will contribute to the social and cultural development of our students, and we welcome you to the Department of Economics family.
