We hosted Taylan Obuz, Field Sales Manager of DHL Logistics, as part of our curriculum with industry professionals. Obuz gave a presentation titled "Incoterms in International Trade" to our students and explained his experiences and observations about the sector both theoretically and practically.
Prof. Florin Dan Puscaciu and Rose Marie Puscaciu from Danubius University in Romania and Nazmije Ramis Merko Zabzun from the University of Struga in North Macedonia met with our students and department staff. Our guest lecturers, who attended classes in line with their fields within the scope of the program, shared their knowledge and experiences to our students.
Every Sunday during Ramadan, students and academicians from the Department of Healthcare Management volunteer to help the Kartal Kızılay Branch's food parcel distribution. We want to express our gratitude to the Kartal Kızılay Branch, academicians, and students for providing us with the opportunity to do good, assist, and most significantly, touch the volunteers on such a memorable day.
We went to Gebze Informatics Valley today as the Department of Healthcare Management. We learned about Turkey's technological and manufacturing advancements. We want to express our gratitude to Istanbul Deputy Osman Boyraz, Informatics Valley Corporate Communication Director Leyla Gök, and Senior Specialist Muhammet Yayman for their interest and assistance in organizing the trip.
We held our Tobacco Addiction event to raise awareness about addiction and demonstrate ways to overcome it. We want to thank our guest, Green Crescent Beykoz Branch President Dr. Mahmut Talha Uçar, also the participants.

Before starting the 2021-2022 Spring semester, our students and academics came together online. At the meeting, topics such as how our students spent the fall semester, our students' expectations from us in the spring semester and our expectations from our students were discussed. Opinions and suggestions of our senior students about professional practices were received. In addition, information was given about the professional practice 2 course that will be held this semester. It was a pleasant and productive meeting where event planning was done with our students.
