Yasemin Torun was born in İstanbul. After she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Management in 2008 and a master degree in the same branch in 2011, she completed her Ph.D in Social Science Institute of Marmara University. With the dissertation of “The meditation effect of organizational cynicism on employee empowerment and turnover intention relationship: A research on organizational cynicism scale development ”she graduated from Management and Organization doctorate programme in 2016. As of 2017, as an Associate Assistant Professor Dr. Yasemin Torun is a faculty member in the Management Department of İstinye University.
