Spring School in Management Information Systems was successfully completed.
Our university organized a spring camp for high school students between 13-15 April 2022. Students who were curious about management information systems in the camp discovered digital transformation on the first day with Dr. Mustafa Sundu, one of the faculty member of our Department. On the same day, they experienced the concept of leadership in digital transformation with a special gamification-based workshop which is designed by our department chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şebnem Özdemir and Res. Asst. Merve Gizem Çömlekçi. On the second day, the students, who discovered the history and scope of artificial intelligence, witnessed how information can be obtained from social media through keyword analysis with Dr. Yalçın Özkan. On the last day of the workshop with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şebnem Özdemir, the participants, also took the opportunity to observe the relationship between bias, deep fake and metaverse - artificial intelligence with various examples.
