İstinye University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Department of Health Management students, 32 universities with the participation of 1250 students attended the Health Management Summit in Ankara. The summit headed by Osman ÖZKAN, Research Assistant at the Health Management Department of İstinye University; Health Innovation and Organization Association, Hospitalmanager Magazine and Global Health Conferences.
In the summit, where managers from medical devices, pharmaceuticals and insurance organizations held talks with private hospitals as panelists; the importance of developing the necessary leadership skills for the health professionals to work in different fields and what the students should do at this point were discussed.
At the closing ceremony of the Summit, the awards were presented to the health managers who were awarded with the votes of the students. Prof. Dr. Ali YILMAZ received the Health Management Academician of the Year award. Prof. Dr. Melih BULUT, Lifetime Achievement in Health Management Award, Oğuz ENGİZ Leading Health Manager of the Year Award; Outstanding EZER was awarded as the Leader of the Foundation Hospital of the Year. Dr. Mete HÜSEMOĞLU Leading Pharmaceutical Sector Manager of the Year Award, A. Baki İTEZ Leading Insurance Sector Manager of the Year Award, Yelda ULU COLİN Leading Medical Sector Manager of the Year Award; Prof. Dr. E. Tümer ÇORAPÇIOĞLU Leading Medical Person of the Year Award, Fethi YAŞAR Mayor of the Most Contributing to Health Award, Murat ÇEÇEN Health Entrepreneur of the Year Award, A. Vahap DOĞAN Public-Private Partnership Manager Award of the Year; Prof. Dr. Hasan Hüseyin YILDIRIM was awarded the Public Manager of the Year award.
