Because of the Health Managers Day, organised a panel discussion by our Health Management Department about Post-Pandemic row in Turkey and the Future Role of Health Management in Health Tourism on 18 December 2020.
Economic and managerial aspects of health tourism in Turkey and how to shape the future of the health sector and the health managers of their responsibility in what happens in the future plans were discussed at the panel program.
Our Head of Health Management Department, Dr. Gülhan Kalmuk, our Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Peyami Çelikcan, our Rector Prof. Dr. Erdal Karaöz and our Chairman of the Board Dr. Muharrem Usta, M.D. made the opening speeches of the panel.
At the panel, the Chairman of the Board of USHAŞ Mr. Dr. Salih Kenan Sahin, summed up Turkey's health tourism potential and future with a stunning presentation. Another important speaker of the panel member of Turkey Institute of Health Sciences Policy Board and also a veteran health manager was Prof. Dr. Melih Bulut attended the panel with his speech on "Diplomacy in Science and Health".
The last speaker of the panel was MLP Care International Marketing and Business Development Director and İstinye Universty Lecturer Murat Ercan shared his views with the participants with his speech on "The Future of Health Tourism During and After Pandemic".
