Within the context of Foundations Week, with the cooperation of Istinye University Department of Social Service and Department of Economics, held a conference on May 10, 2022. Asst. Professor Çiğdem Gürsoy and Professor İlhan Tomanbay participated as speechmakers to the conference which has the main theme of “Social Policies, Social Aid and Sharing Tradition in the Civilization of Foundation”. Asst. Prof. Çiğdem Gürsoy made a presentation that named “Foundation Culture and Social Aid” while Prof. İlhan Tomanbay made his presentation of “From Tradition of Foundations to Social State”. Students took an interest to the conference held in Istinye University Topkapı Campus. After presentations, the conference has ended with question-and-answer chapter.
