Serdar Demir received his undergraduate degree from Boğaziçi University, Department of Mathematics. He completed his Master of Science degree at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mathematics with his thesis titled "Mathematical Modeling Methodology and a Traffic Model by Data Analysis and Machine Learning". He currently continues his PhD studies at Boğaziçi University, Department of Industrial Engineering. He works in the fields such that mathematical modelling, applied mathematics, data analysis and machine learning.
