
Born in Istanbul in 1969, Hakan Çınar graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Economics after his primary and secondary education; He completed his Master's programs in Money and Bank, then in Finance and then in International Economics. He completed his doctorate in International Trade and European Union at Istanbul University. Hakan Çınar has worked as General Coordinator and Vice President at Ekol Lojistik A.Ş. between 2001-2009. Afterwards, he worked as a consultant, TV programmer, academician and the EU negotiation process. Accepting Ünsped's CEO offer in 2014, Hakan Çınar is a 50 percent partner to the Mentor group, which provides Customs Consultancy and Foreign Trade consultancy services. He is an associate of foreign trade programs in Bloomberg and NTV and still works as a columnist in Dünya Newspaper. Hakan Çınar has been a guest lecturer at Istinye University since 2018.
